What I Promise:

I can’t promise you I wont fall in love

I can promise you if I do, it’s not required of you.

I can’t promise you you’ll always like the me you see

I can promise you I’ll always be me.

I can’t promise you the passion will always be on fire

I can promise you a life time of passion I do so desire.

The passion will come from my heart

My passion with you will so start.

Promises made not so light

Promises for you which I write.

Come from a soul within

You so ignite I long to begin.

I promise to hold your heart with care

If you ever decide to give it if you dare

I can’t promise you forever today or cause you no pain

What I can promise you now happiness is my only gain

As you sooth my soul I hope to sooth your pain

Together comfort happiness we will gain

With these promises I hope you can see

my heart is open for you to be.
