What can you and I do to help save our planet? Global warming is not been unproven, & until it is, everyone should act accordingly, so future generations can live on our planet.

1. Recycle, Reduce, Reuse. Limit your consumer graveyard. Nearly everything you use can be recycled, reused by someone else, and if you don't need it, don't keep it, give it away. Reduce your consumer consumption. American's have grown up with the attitude: Buy, Buy, Buy. Stop buying so much "STUFF".

2. Use a manual can opener, save electricity, save money. If one million people do this, it amounts to a great deal of energy saving, and money savings.

3. Recycle, instead of paying the trash collector to take away your garbage, take it away yourself. That way you can get paid for recycling your items. Sort out your garbage and take it to the recycling center, even if you don't get paid for it, you help the planet by recycling.
Buy trash cans, one for glass, one for tins, one for newspapers and magazines. Take these to your recycling center. Save your planet.

Use cloth bags to haul your bought items in. They cost .99 cents and save your planet from paper or plastic bags stuffed into the ground, plastic bags do not disintegrate. If two million people do this, it makes a great impact on earth.

4. Buy less, buy fresh, buy local. If you buy local, you support your local community. It also reduces the need for items to be trucked in, costing more, using more energy, causing more pollution to your environment.

5. Unplug things you are not using. Even plugged in items use energy. Reduce your energy costs, save your environment. IF a cazillion people do this, our planet is less impacted by our selfishness and our laziness.

6. Visit your local trash dump. They do more burying and covering up, than they do recycling our wastes. I recently visited one and I was astonished by the huge "mountains" of trash covered by grass. They bury it, throw down some grass seed, watch the grass grow, right over all our garbage. It truly was a despicable consumer graveyard. If everyone did this, all of us would think twice about the reactions caused by our actions.

7. Grow a garden for food supply. There is little more satisfying that to taste your own labors of love. Fresh fruits, fresh veggies, etc. If a cazillion people do this, we conserve energy, we contribute to less global warming and more satisfaction.
